Are you craving for another self-help book? You should if you aren’t. This entire genre of book is dedicated to people who want to live their lives in a better manner. Who wouldn’t want that?

I am a big fan of self-help books and I would never leave an opportunity to talk about good self-help books.

Hence, today, I am going to tell you about the Vertical Living by Vidyangi.

The book introduces a concept called – Vertical Living, which is the sum total of how you can make your life better, be a better person, be more productive and achieve greater things.

With plenty of examples and how-tos, the author introduces Vertical Living to you and aces at it.

You see, whenever I read self-help books, I often find one thing nudging me – ‘how do I do it?’.

Great authors have talked about what you should do to achieve this or that thing but few mention some practical steps to actually do it.

Vertical Living is a book that includes all – it tells you what to do, why to do and how to do, all three at once.

Vertical living Book Review

With the help of diagrams and lists, the author reveals concepts which she has learned through her experiences and her research while writing this book. She talks to many people regarding what makes them successful and productive at what they do and compiles what she learned from them in her book called the Vertical Living.

To be honest, when I started reading the book, the introduction kind of intimidated me and hence, I would suggest you skip that introduction and dive right into the book. Read the introduction at the end for the best experience.

My copy of this book is full of underlines and highlights for every single concept in the book is quotable and must to implement. Does she introduce something entirely new? I wouldn’t say that but the way she compiles the best habits of highly successful people to build the blocks of a lifestyle is worth appreciating.

She doesn’t tell you 10 things you can and should do. She tells you about this one thing you should do – adopt the vertical living lifestyle and the rest of the book is all about how to do it.

I think it’s a great book for the people who are looking for self-development books and advice. You should definitely give it a try.

My tips to read vertical living

  1. Skip the introduction.
  2. Make notes
  3. Highlight important points.
  4. Practice Vertical Living
