Winter is coming and with this, my love for desserts like Trifle Pudding increases manifolds. I just can’t keep my hands off such an amazing dish. But instead of going to places like Nik Baker’s, I prefer preparing Trifle Pudding at home. There are two reasons behind that. 1) It is never pocket friendly to go and eat things like these from restaurants. They are way too costly. 2) It is super duper easy to prepare this dessert at home.

That’s why I felt like sharing this recipe of Trifle Pudding. I hope you like it and if you want me to do a video of this recipe, please let me know. I hope you have already subscribed to my YOUTUBE CHANNEL.

Trifle Pudding

Ingredients

  1. Cake Pieces 1-2 packets
  2. Fruits – 2 cups chopped (mango, apple, bananas, grapes) [Do not use melon, water melon, chickoo, pear)
  3. Custard

i)                    Milk – 3 cups

ii)                   Vanilla Custard Powder – 2 tbsp

iii)                 Sugar – 3 tbsp

iv)                 Water – ½ cup

  1. For Garnishing –

i)                    Cherries

ii)                   Jam

iii)                 Strawberry  (crushed)

iv)                 Chocolate (crushed)

v)                  Dry Fruits

Method

(Use flat bowls)

Take milk in a bowl and add sugar. Then add custard (Mix it in water before adding). Cook for 1 or 2 minutes on low flame. Keep stirring. After its cold, blend the custard mixture in mixer.

In a bowl, put cake pieces. Arrange it to form a layer. This would be the first layer. The second layer would be of fruits. Press the fruits a little. Add custard for the third layer would be of custard. Keep in fridge for 2 hours.

Then garnish with biscuits or crushed chocolate. Sprinkle the crushed chocolate. Put a little chocolate sauce (if available). Put some cherries.
