While I totally suck at writing creative headlines for my posts, Delhiites always manage to impress me with their creativity. Before you decide to click and hop on to some other property on the internet, let me tell you what’s in this post for you.
If you’re looking for a fantastic place with yummy food & great ambience, this post is for you. If you’re up for some exclusive news on what happens on an event for food bloggers in Delhi, this post is for you. If you just like the host of this blog and are ready to hear whatever I say, this post is for you. 😉
With the feeling of homesickness and congestion giving a serious setback to my work, I finally decided to get out of my house and meet some cool people and have some REAL good food. I already had an invite to a special event from Mister Tikku & PromOn, and there I was at Hadippa in Rajouri.
If you’re a Punjabi, I don’t need to tell you that. Hadippa is a word used to express excitement, and it is also the name of this exciting restaurant situated in Rajouri area in Delhi. The place has been beautifully designed to help you get that authentic Punjabi feel. From the paintings on the walls, from the furniture to the lighting, the place is a refreshing combination of Punjab mixed with a rustic touch. Wait for what’s on the menu!
As soon as I entered the place, I was impressed. Warm greetings and warm place… something I have been missing ever since I moved to Delhi. Then came the part of meeting the coolest people on Earth – Foodies! Some faces were known, and some were close to being known.
Starters at Hadippa
But all this meeting greeting was halted for there was tasty food. Seriously! You’re not a real foodie if the first thing on your agenda isn’t food. Staying true to my words, I started tasting the dishes being served.
From tikkas to kebabs, everything just melted in my mouth.
The soft and juicy taste of food is the handiwork of only the excellent cooks.
And there I was eating loads of food even when I have lost my appetite because of homesickness.
PromOn Lohri Special Offer
Once the starters were finished, we were introduced to a touch of desserts with an incredible offer for the foodies. The hosts of the events have come up with a great offer for Foodies on the occasion of Lohri where you can just log on to PromOn and get an exciting discount deal on some great restaurants in Rajouri Area. The offer is unbelievable and available only till January 13. Check the link for details.
Food at Hadippa
Time for the main course. We were served some scrumptious dishes – Dal Makhani, Kadhai Paneer, Mutton Rogan Josh, Veg Biryani and a lot more. Well, that was what I tasted. There were a couple of more dishes which delighted the people present there. We had some yummy gulab jamuns and kulfis for the desserts and look how happy we were after this wholesome meal!
I can go on and on about how amazing it is to meet people who share same interests as you and who would leave no stone unturned to make you feel like you’re family. But let’s just not do that for you don’t want to read an essay. Do you?
Hadippa is a lovely place. As I always say, for me 80% is ambience and service, and 20% is food. And I like a place when it gives me the best combination of both. Hadippa did that very well, and I can’t wait to go there again and feel like home once again.
There could not have been a better compilation than this Manpreet Jee.
Thanks a ton for coming over… Spreading your smiles and then for writing this.
Glad that you liked it 🙂
