A young banker is found dead after she gets fired because of her negligence at work. A dean of corporate India falls from the balcony of his flat. A hacker tries to get into the system of a very high security server room of a big multinational accounting firm. People are dying. Someone is trying to hide something. And there’s a threat to the life of other people related to the already deceased. And all of this is happening because of the Fraudster.

fraudster book review

Fraudster by RV Raman is a crime thriller that is going to glue you till the end. And this is something which I say; not those back cover or reviews. Once I got this book in my hand and started turning the pages, I really could not stop.

That is the probable reason for why I completed the book in barely 3 hours. This 288 page book is written by RV Raman who is himself an insider of the same corporate world. In the book, he has tried to use his imagination while blending his knowledge of the field to provide the best to the readers.

Here’s my review for the Fraudster by RV Raman.

The book starts with deaths of multiple people and that part is equally interesting. It really felt like I was watching a crime thriller movie. I know comparing books with movies is bad (books always win) but I want to tell you how awesome I could visualize the details that were mentioned in the book. And the affect resonated on me like it does when we watch a movie.

After the couple of incidents, the investigation begins. The key people in the story come across a number of clues and that’s how story progresses. But the writer has done a really good job in keeping the mystery behind the curtains till the end.

If you read a book in this genre, you are bound to try to figure out who is the culprit and this happened with me too. It felt like I had myself become the detective. And it was really a good time to connect the dots and figure out the truth. Of course, I was following the detective in the book but still, it was great.

There wasn’t a single moment when I felt bored or felt like the story is being dragged. It was really  a good read and of course, I will recommend it to anyone who is looking for a good book to read this fall. Try this!
