Today’s post is regarding some of the most amazing facts about South of Gurgaon.
1. It’s the most scenic situation in the NCR region
As I drove past the Golf Course Extension road and reached one of my favourite restaurants at Sohna Road, I had a sharp eye to verify this claim. God! I was just fascinated with what I saw. Remember that I am a person who starts dancing when she sees the mountains. Going too close, however, scares me to death. The beautiful view of the Aravalli hills is unbelievable and astonishingly perfect. And if I am geographically correct, you cannot find a similar view anywhere around the NCR region except in South of Gurgaon.
2. Very close to top educational institutes, shopping and health care centres
As a homeowner, there are three basic things that you want to live close by. It’s the educational institutes, health care centres and shopping malls.
South of Gurgaon is close to top education institutes like G.D. Goenka World School, DPS and JKS School. Health care centres like Max super speciality hospital, Fortis hospital and Medicity and shopping centres like Big Bazaar and Shoppers Stop are also situated in this area.
3. Extremely competitive pricing
Almost all the housing projects in South of Gurgaon are available at a price of Rs. 4,000 – 5000 sq ft. It’s a price that’s tough to find in any other area of the city. The minimum price of the apartment, Rs. 30 lakh, is also lower than the standard pricing.
4. Chances of development are very high
The area comes in the centre of the proposed development plans by the government. There’s an approx. 1483 km Delhi Mumbai Industrial Corridor that’s coming up very close to this area. Kundli-Manesar-Palwal Expressway will further enhance the connectivity of this area and make it more happening. It also means that the chances of high ROI in this area are bright.
5. South of Gurgaon is greener
If there’s one thing people living in metro cities crave for, it’s greenery. In this area, there’s going to be assured 2600 acres of green cover. It also has one of the biggest natural lakes in Haryana – Damdama Lake nearby. Proximity to Aravali hills is already a selling point of this area.

One of the facts that I know about Gurgaon is that it’s a place where Kauravas and Pandvas officially went for teaching under the guardianship of Guru Dhronacharaya. It is the place where the Aashram of Dhronacharya existed and his pupils were trained and mentored under him. Which is why the name “Guru gaon”.
