We all waste our time online doing something or the other. Doing this or that. And when we have nothing to do, we start watching movies. But movies also ditch us after an hour and a half or so.

That’s why; here I am, to help you with your problem of getting bored and to help you find a long term friend, TV shows. Yes, they are interesting, addictive, a good time-pass and even after the end of a season, they always leave you with something to look forward to.

Here are 5 TV shows, that I would suggest you to start watching in 2015. They are not too old, so you may not have that much content in advance, but they are quite addictive.

1. Game Of Thrones.

This is one of my favorite shows. Based on a series of A Song Of Ice And Fire by George R.R. Martin, the story is set in the fictional continent of westeros and revolves around the power struggle between the noble houses of the realm for an Iron Throne. The show is very addictive and entertaining and makes you wish that it never ends.

2. Hannibal.

This show is about a brilliant cunning psychiatrist and cannibalistic serial killer, Dr. Hannibal Lecter, who has a very reputed status in the society and his relationship with a gifted criminal profiler, Will Graham. What happens to their relationship when Hannibal starts coiling up like a viper to make the kill shot? Would Will Graham be able to find out about the true identity of his “friend”? These are the few questions which keep the viewers glued to the show. Give it a try and tell us what you think.

3. Sherlock.

Who doesn’t know Sherlock Holmes ad John Watson! We all do, well, mostly. And those of us who do know Sherlock, also know who created him, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. This show is based on detective stories of Sherlock Holmes by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. Now, you would say that you have already seen many versions of Sherlock Holmes on TV and in movies, and most of us would remember Robert Downey Jr. as Sherlock Holmes. But this series is completely different, believe me. It’s a completely different experience to see Sherlock in our modern world, mixing his intelligence with all the modern gadgets and technologies. I’d say it’s kinda COOL!

4. Vikings.

Vikings is a historical drama, based on the life of legendary chief of Vikings, Ragnar Lothbrok and his exploits and raids on the lands of England and France. This show tells you all about the ways of Viking living. So, the people interested in history would surely love this show. Not only this, the screenplay and the storyline of the show is very intriguing and would make you want it more and more.

5. Da Vinci’s Demons.

This is one of a kind show. I bet you’d have never watched anything like this. This show describes the earlier fictitious life story of Leonardo da Vinci, one of the greatest polymaths and a man with multiple talents. An engineer, a writer, a mathematician, a musician, a painter, an inventor, and the list goes on and on and on. Aren’t you curious to know more about him? Just give the show a try. I am sure you would not regret it.

So guys, these are some shows that I would want you to start watching this year. These are only a couple of years old so they don’t have much content already. If you want those kinds of shows with 7-8 or more seasons, let me know. I would be happy to help you. If you know about some more awesome TV shows like these, comment and tell us about them. Till then, enjoy the previous seasons and wait for the new ones in the upcoming months.
